The work is an inquiry into the imaging of eternity through the use of Euclidean geometry. The “seed motif” of the animation is a traditional Celtic curvilinear interlacing form. The rate of change in the configuration is intended to raise questions about perception, illusion, and Western philosophy. At the very end the computer is calculating curves. The fixed viewpoint tells of another reality.
