Bio:
Daniel Barry is a member of the media . architecture . computing program at the University at Buffalo (USA). In 2009, he graduated from the University at Buffalo with a bachelor of science in architecture and continued at the University at Buffalo in the Department of Architecture and the Department of Media Study to pursue both a master of architecture and a master of fine arts. His research interests are focused on mobile computing technologies and how they negotiate social and spatial relationships. His work indexes mobile devices as prosthetic extensions of the body and their modification to extend our cognition of the complex invisible architectures of contemporary urban
environments. His work has been internationally recognized through exhibitions and publications in France, Japan, and the United States. As the Fred Wallace Brunkow Fellow, he is the designer and editor of Intersight, the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning’s annual journal of student work.
