Eleanor Gates Stuart

Bio:

• Eleanor Gates-Stuart has a unique profile that extends a spectrum of roles and currently Full Professor in Techno Art at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. Her PhD awarded in science & art with the Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science at the ANU, and associated with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).

  Gates-Stuart’s research in Science and Art is diverse and collaborative. Specialising in visual media communicating her artistic practice in new and innovative ways. She is awarded the 2016 Scitech Artist in Residence for Rio Tinto Innovation Central, WA.

  Gates-Stuart’s interests crossover arts, science, design, technology and communication. Having received numerous awards, grants, and commissions, Gates-Stuart’s international artistic profile and research includes roles: professor, curator, exhibitor, director of media and science arts events. A regular contributor to numerous professional associations, collaborating, publishing and presenting papers: UK, USA, Taiwan & Australia.
