Bio:
Jingyang (Leo) Liu is a computational designer and researcher interested in topics of generative design, robotic fabrication, and bio-inspired systems. He is a graduate instructor and researcher in the School of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University where he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in computational design. Jingyang’s work explores design computation between natural systems, architecture and material science. His research has been presented in conferences including ACM SimAUD, ASME, ACADIA and featured in exhibitions at Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, The Museum of Modern Art, Centre Georges Pompidou, Storefront of Art and Architecture and Hartell Gallery.
