Bio:
Timothy Wood (PhD Candidate, M.S, B.S) is a Graduate Student Researcher in the Media Arts & Technology Program at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His research looks at new ways of utilizing human computer interactivity, virtual worlds, and somatic movement practices in order to deepen and empower our relationship to the body and nature. Tim received his BS in computer science from the College of Creative Studies at UCSB, and has trained in improvisational dance and musical performance for most of his life. Tim aims to create works that promote imagination, creativity, and play as healing forces.
